We are recruiting on behalf of an established boutique consultancy specializing in valuation and advisory services for corporations, business owners, and family law. Located in North York (parking provided), the firm is experiencing growth and is seeking a progressive Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) for a newly created Associate role within their team. This opportunity offers direct exposure to valuation and advisory projects, ideal for CPAs with an audit background in public accounting (small or mid-size firms).

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Prepare valuation reports and related financial analysis.
• Conduct business and asset valuations for diverse client scenarios.
• Perform financial modelling, normalization analysis, and valuation calculations.
• Support forensic accounting and related financial advisory assignments.
• Collaborate closely with senior team members on high-profile projects.
• Delivery expert reports, schedules and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of valuation methodologies.
• Assist in client communications and project documentation.

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• CPA designation with public accounting experience in small-to-mid-size firms.
• Strong financial analysis, accounting and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with Canadian corporate and personal tax returns.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
• Technical skills under ASPE with exposure to valuations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
