Opportunity Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly financial reporting and ensure accuracy & compliance with accounting standards.
- Lead month-end close, including accrual accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage and approve journal entries, accruals, and general ledger postings.
- Support the year-end audit, preparing working papers and responding to queries.
- Partner with the CFO to identify and implement process improvements.
- Establish internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain reporting integrity.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial planning with operational goals.
- Analyze financial data and provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, funding requirements, and monitor contract compliance.
About You:
- CPA designation required.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with supervisory experience. Preferably qualified CPA in public accounting currently in Industry.
- Strong technical accounting skills and advanced Excel proficiency and use of technology.
- Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the IT or technology industry is preferred.
