As Corporate Controller you will establish consolidated accounting/reporting/finance processes for a group of international entities with significant revenues. This role requires a designated CPA, an established industry professional, with a strong understanding of accounting standards, corporate accounting and Controllership activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of period end reporting and financial statements
• Oversee an efficient month end close process for multiple entities/operating companies
• Research complex accounting issues to ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Resolve/action complex, non-routine accounting transactions
• Review monthly performance reporting and pepare a summary of critical KPIs
• Liaise with subsidiaries to challenge and validate operating budgets/forecasts
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, CRA and relevant government agencies
• Identify and implement new ways to improve quality and efficiency of financial processes
• Execute ad hoc initiatives/special projects required by the CFO

Qualifications:

• CPA designation is required, candidates that qualified at a major public accounting firm preferred
• 10+ years of progressive post designation experience in accounting or finance
• Strong communicator and collaborator, capable of establishing relationships and delivering information clearly and concisely to senior leadership team
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and working knowledge to taxation
• Detailed-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
• Proactive problem solver with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
