We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious and established organization located mid-town Toronto along the subway line, currently seeking a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills from public accounting and/or industry.

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Lead a dynamic team responsible for reporting, compliance, FP&A, and financial systems
• Partner with business stakeholders on financial analysis, capital budgeting and forecasting
• Oversee accounting operations, financial statements, external audits, and reporting requirements
• Provide leadership on cross-functional projects, business-wide initiatives, and strategic priorities
• Produce and deliver timely management reporting, KPIs, and meaningful variance analysis
• Advise business leaders with actionable recommendations to support executive decision making
• Lead the analysis of results with a focus on improving the quality of information delivered
• People development including coaching, mentoring, collaboration, and team engagement
• Drive continuous improvement and engagements to financial systems and data integrity
• Assess business impacts of changes to accounting standards under ASPE and IFRS
• Assist with ad-hoc investment performance reporting packages

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA)
• 8+ years of progressive experience from public accounting and/or industry
• Commitment to continuous improvement and executing change
• Proven leadership and direct people management experience
• Strong technical accounting expertise under IFRS and ASPE
• Effective communication skills at all levels
