We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established global business with their Canadian head office located in Toronto, reporting directly to the North American CFO. They are seeking a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with relevant industry for this exciting, dynamic, and high-visibility opportunity!

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Analyze and monitor financial performance while identifying risks and opportunities
• Financial support on strategic objectives e.g., product launches, business initiatives, and investments
• Lead coordination of budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and operational cost management
• Prepare business presentations for KPIs, metrics, business review meetings, and objective setting
• Collaborate with global supply chain operations and commercial teams to manage SOP, sales forecasts, revenue, and market trends
• Ensure proper review and controls to monitor and assess inventory, pricing exposure, and assess risk
• Monthly financial reporting including preparation/analysis of P&L variances, expenses and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with relevant SOP’s including finance and contractual policies and procedures

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• 10+ years of progressive post-qualification experience
• Proven track record in financial management, accounting, planning, and analysis
• Strong technology use using Power BI and SAP (or other ERP systems)
• Self-motivated with a high degree of urgency and strong tactical planning
• Well-developed project management and leadership skills
• Effective cross-functional communicator
