We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organization with their Canadian head office, reporting directly to the Director of Finance Operations (North America). They are seeking a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with relevant consumer goods, retail or pharmaceutical sector experience for this exciting, dynamic, and high-visibility opportunity!

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Business partner with key stakeholders to align business priorities and drive execution
• Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for North American region
• Consolidate financial performance of regional operations and provide meaningful commentary
• Ensure internal reporting is meeting the needs of the business, commercial and leadership teams
• Review sales performance, examine revenue trends, and assess ongoing marketing conditions
• Work directly with the business to development and update sales forecasts and accuracy of KPIs
• Analyze full P&L variances between budgets, forecasting and actual results in monthly reports
• Support strategic business decision making with ad hoc reporting on business performance
• Drive process improvement, challenge status quo and lead changes in current norms

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• 7-10 years of experience in progressive finance positions
• Industry experience in a cross-functional business partnering role
• Relevant experience in financial management, planning and analysis
• Strong technology use using Power BI and SAP (or other ERP systems)
• Self-motivated with a high degree of urgency and strong tactical planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
