We are recruiting on behalf of a leader in the Technology/Software space located Downtown Toronto, with only 2 days in-office per week. They are currently seeking a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with relevant industry experience and prior training at a public accounting firm.

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Lead and manage a global team of finance professionals at various levels
• Preparation of financial results and analysis of business unit results for management
• Partner with business leaders to prepare quarterly and annual forecasts/presentations
• Participate in ad hoc projects related to business initiatives focused on driving growth
• Management reporting packages including profitability trends and cost savings opportunities
• Assist with complex accounting issues related to acquisition activities and revenue recognition
• Provide audit support for internal, external, and statutory audit inquires at the BU level
• Continuous process improvement and working with leadership to develop best practices

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA)
• 5-8 years of combined experience in public accounting and industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
