As Finance Manager, you will lead a small team and oversee all aspects of accounting as it relates to revenue. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing critical insights and analysis on revenue-related matters to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of technical accounting standards, particularly revenue recognition and the ability to navigate complex accounting scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a small team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Lead the revenue recognition process, including the review and analysis of contracts, identification of performance obligations, and determination of appropriate revenue recognition methods in accordance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS or USGAAP).
- Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations teams to ensure alignment on contract terms, revenue recognition policies, and business strategies.
- Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of revenue accounting procedures.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and provide insights to senior management on revenue performance, trends, and forecasts.
- Support external audit activities and assist with the resolution of audit findings related to revenue recognition.

Qualifications:
- CPA designation is required.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on revenue recognition.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in revenue recognition principles under IFRS or USGAAP.
- Experience supervising or leading a team is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator and collaborator, capable of building strong relationships across departments.
