Opportunity Details
Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Oversee the preparation of quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance team to develop and implement process improvements.
• Key point of contact with external auditors and managing integrity of process and controls
• Perform technical accounting research and assist in creating accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage the ERP system and identify efficiencies and improvements for reporting.
• Monthly subsidiary reporting & analysis in divisional finance teams and corporate departments
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and note disclosures for consolidated entity.
• Review and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies.
The company is offering a competitive compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary and annual bonus program. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
• 5 years of progressive public accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting skills reporting under IFRS.
• Financial and consolidations audit in public company preferred.
• Well-developed project management and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
