The Company is seeking a progressive Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) to join their dynamic finance team in the newly created position of Manager, Financial Reporting & Controls. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative team-driven environment supporting diverse initiatives, with a strong foundation in technical accounting, controls, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Lead and enhance the company’s lease accounting processes under IFRS
• Preparation of quarterly and annual management discussion & analysis (MD&A)
• Analyze, draft and implement new accounting policies for new or updated IFRS
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within corporate accounting functions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors on various reporting and compliance matters.
• Support ongoing control initiatives and risk management efforts.
• Partner with senior leadership on key financial and reporting projects.

The successful candidate will possess:
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• 5-10 years of progressive experience, with a foundation in public accounting
• Demonstrated expertise in IFRS and experience working with complex accounting
• Significant experience in controls, compliance, and external audit processes
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across levels
• Self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Proven ability to build and maintain internal relationships
• Experience reviewing and/or drafting MD&A is an asset
