We are recruiting on behalf of a market leader, located in the downtown core, currently seeking a Big 4 qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA or CPA) with strong knowledge of IFRS/USGAAP standards as they apply in tech/software.

Key responsibilities and oversight:
-  Review revenue activities to ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards
-  Support all key reporting/accounting deliverables providing guidance as it relates to relevant standards
-  Liaise with non-finance/operations teams to provide recommendations on contracts, agreements, renewals and related issues
-  Provide revenue related KPI metrics and related analysis
-  Coach, supervise and develop a finance professional
-  Execute ad hoc initiatives/special projects required by the VP and SLT

The successful candidate will possess the following:
-  Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA)
-  A minimum of 3 years post grad experience
-  Proficiency with USGAAP/IFRS is required, ideally in software/technology including strong knowledge of revenue recognition standards
-  Self-confident with excellent written and verbal communication skills
