We are recruiting on behalf of a diversified private Real Estate company located in Toronto (3 days per week in office) currently seeking a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from a small/mid-size public accounting firm.

Key responsibilities and oversight:
· In partnership with joint venture partners preparation/review month end close and periodic financial reporting packages for a variety of entities
· Assist in integrations resulting from project/asset acquisition activity and new transactions
· Support the closure and carve out of assets on disposal
· Prepare/review corporate and partnership tax returns for various entities
· Respond to inquiries from the joint venture partners
· Participate in ad hoc finance projects related to process improvement

The company is offering a lucrative compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary, annual bonus and a strong RSP program, plus other benefits. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.

The successful candidate will possess the following:
· Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA)
· 3+ years of progressive experience with a small or mid-size public accounting firm
· Experience of Real Estate and/or IFRS 16 is an asset
· Proficient with the preparation of corporate and partnership tax returns
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
