As a designated CPA (or CFE passer within 12 months of designation), you'll play a vital role managing the company’s financial health. Your expertise will ensure an efficient close and you’ll play a key role is driving initiatives and transformation. Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Support the general ledger, month-end, and year-end closing procedures
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, proactively resolving discrepancies
• Provide analysis and related commentary on key financial indicators including historical comparisons
• Collaborate with the other finance groups supporting planning and forecasting functions
• Safeguard company assets by maintaining and improving internal controls
• Mentor and guide junior accountants, fueling their growth
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial information flow
• Implement new policies and procedures, driving continuous improvement

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with a passion for excellence
• Minimum three years of accounting/finance experience
• In-depth knowledge of large company/high transaction volume environments
• Retail or consumer goods industry experience preferred
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
