We are recruiting on behalf of a large private company, with global operations, who's North America finance team is based in Toronto. They are seeking a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from a large accounting firm for this position.

Key responsibilities and oversight:
· Ensure a smooth/effective execution of annual financial statement preparation
· Provide management and executive reporting and analysis including variances and related commentary
· Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures
· Project involvement and support for transformation, process improvements and automation initiatives

The successful candidate will possess the following:
· Chartered Professional Accountant designation (completed CPA requirements)
· 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting
· Experience auditing public companies under IFRS
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
· Complex accounting experience
