Opportunity Details
The organization is seeking a progressive Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who thrives in a dynamic environment supporting strategic planning and high-impact analysis. Strong attention to detail responsible for management reporting, developing the annual budget, forecasting and profitability analysis.
Key Responsibilities and Oversight:
• Develop, maintain, and analyze financial models to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
• Play a critical role in the preparation and presentation of annual budgets, forecasts, profitability analysis, and other value-added financial analysis.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, profitability insights, and key performance indicators.
• Support the management, analysis, and reporting of financial terms and commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and inventory management.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate pricing, profitability, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, utilizing advanced data tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify business risks and opportunities through data-driven analysis and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing innovative data analysis solutions and enhancing financial processes, systems, and controls.
• Assist in special projects related to process improvement, system integration, and reporting enhancements.
• Contribute to the development of financial best practices aligned with organizational growth objectives.
Successful Candidate Will Possess:
• CPA designation with experience in financial planning and analysis or a CPA in public accounting with Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, Alteryx, or similar analytical and reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities with a strong aptitude for systems and business applications.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, revenue recognition, and performance reporting.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
• Self-starter with strong financial acumen and a genuine interest in leveraging data to improve business performance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience partnering across multiple functional areas.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements using advanced analytical tools and technology.
• Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and think strategically in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
