They are seeking a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) for this newly created role that provides great mentorship and exposure to operations leaders. This role is responsible for processing, analyzing and providing key KPIs to enhance business performance with accurate and timely management reporting.

Key responsibilities and oversight:

• Process and controls improvement initiatives in accounting & financial reporting under IFRS.
• Business partner with Operations to minimize costs and maximize opportunities.
• Support budget process, variance analysis, providing value added commentary and insight.
• Execute on period end close activities such as accruals, deferrals, prepaids.
• Perform variance analysis to budget, forecast and prior year and prepare period end reports.
• Complete balance reconciliations and provide commentary on balance sheet variances.
• Coach and provide financial analyst support as required.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience reporting under IFRS
• Aptitude for continuous improvement including process and controls.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication
