We are recruiting on behalf of a growing Canadian public company with international operations located in Mississauga. They are seeking a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with relevant experience from a large public accounting firm.

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports for senior management
• Prepare quarterly consolidation, public financial statements, and other reporting requirements
• Provide various financial reports and analysis to identify issues, trends and improvement areas
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the financial close process and monthly results
• Assist with identifying and driving cost savings initiatives across the company’s operations
• Create, maintain and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
• Financial systems support, process improvement, and driving efficiencies

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA)
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in a large public accounting firm
• Experience with revenue recognition and consolidations
• Auditing experience with clients reporting under IFRS
• Strong understanding of financial processes
