We are recruiting on behalf of a growing Real Estate company located in Toronto (3 days per week in office) currently seeking a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA or CPA).

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Preparation/review of month end activities and periodic consolidated reporting packages including analysis of company results
• Prepare detailed variance analysis and related commentary on KPI performance
• Assist in integrations resulting from acquisition activity and new transactions
• Support review of complex accounting transactions ensuring appropriate treatment is applied
• Respond to inquiries from the company’s leadership, board of directors and audit committee
• Participate in ad hoc finance projects related to process improvement

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA-CA or CPA)
• 3+ years of progressive experience with a major public accounting firm
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of IFRS/USGAAP
• Experience of Real Estate is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
