They are currently seeking a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with relevant experience from a large public accounting firm.

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Partner with the FP&A and Corporate Development teams to provide projections for the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Assist with M&A due diligence procedures for decision support on potential new projects
• Assess current accounting operations and assist with identifying and implementing best practices
• Preparation of monthly internal reporting packages and annual consolidated financial statements
• Manage communication with external auditors regarding external statements and accounting issues
• Contribute to the research, guidance, advice, and memo-writing on complex IFRS accounting issues
• Review monthly reporting of subsidiaries and provide guidance on appropriate accounting treatment
• Facilitate improvements to enhance internal controls and accounting processes
• Provide ad hoc reports, analysis, and other projects to senior executives

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• 3+ years of progressive public accounting pathway experience
• Self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude, goal oriented, complex problem solver
• Experience auditing companies reporting under IFRS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong technical accounting skills
