We are currently recruiting for this critically important finance position with a global technology/software company. If you’re a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) coming from a large accounting firm and are ready for your next challenge, this is an incredible opportunity to elevate your career!

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly P&L and balance sheet reports for senior management
• Provide value-added analysis on P&L performance including KPIs, benchmarking and trend analysis
• Take on ad-hoc financial reporting and provide meaningful insights into key risk and improvement areas
• Work seamlessly with head office, internal/external auditors to present accurate supporting documents
• Establish and enforce relevant financial policies and procedures to assist with cost analysis process
• Advise or establish improved financial reporting and accounting processes within the group
• Play a key role in the quarter-end process, ensuring the group meets deadlines and deliverables
• Provide financial support and analyses for operational objectives

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (completed CPA requirements)
• 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting
• Experience auditing companies reporting under IFRS and/or ASPE
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical skills including acquisition accounting
