They are seeking a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) currently at the Manager level in public accounting or industry for this exciting, dynamic, and high-visibility opportunity!

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Preparation of consolidated quarterly & annual financial statements and note disclosures
• Period-end P&L close activities and preparation of business-level financial statements
• Business partner with assignment groups to provide various insights and financial analysis
• Ownership of the corporate accounting and consolidation process, prepare working papers
• Participate in special projects with cross-functional teams and within the finance function
• Partner with key stakeholders to improve finance processes, documentation, and efficiency
• Preparation of recurring management reporting packages and supporting commentary
• Collaborate with and assist project leaders related to the ERP implementation for finance
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards
• Review and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• 3-5 years of progressive public accounting experience
• Financial statement compilation experience for private enterprises
• Strong technical accounting skills under IFRS and/or ASPE
• Working knowledge of consolidations and lease accounting
• Excellent verbal and written communication
