Key responsibilities and oversight:

• Act as a strategic partner to the Senior Director in developing and executing the annual internal audit plan
• Lead and manage complex audits and advisory engagements across the company
• Oversee audit team activities including planning, testing, reporting, and presentation to stakeholders
• Present directly to the Audit Committee and collaborate with senior leadership across departments
• Manage performance and development plans for audit team members
• Drive improvements in internal processes, tools, and methodologies, including use of GRC systems and data analytics
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage third-party resources supporting audit execution
• Support special reviews and high-priority projects for leadership and the Board

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• CPA designation (qualified at a major public accounting firm preferred)
• 8+ years of audit experience, including people leadership and project management
• Strong understanding of risk, controls, and business processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in real estate or development is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and data analytics is preferred
