We are retained on behalf of a Top performing pharmaceutical company located in Mississauga, currently seeing a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) . A key member of Executive team supporting the CFO, Global, managing the fundamentals of financial and operational performance and risk, to ensure integrity of reported results. Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Define and Lead strategic agenda for the Finance and Operations department
• Representing the company externally supporting Audit, CRA, Logistics providers, Distributors and Wholesalers as required.
• Participate in policy, strategic and operational decisions
• Oversight of the full P&L and presenting results and projections to the Board and ET, Regional and Global office.
• Oversee pricing strategies, financial and risk management
• Supply chain optimization, ensure distribution agreements and 3PL direction and support
• Ensure strategic direction for IT including managing technology platforms are in compliance with Corporate standards as required
• Leadership and people development to ensure succession planning, maintain high standards of work ethic, champion performance and growth of individuals to work collaboratively
• Review and assess all relevant policies and SOPs are constantly revised and updated
• Strong representative of the Canadian team to maintain constant high standards of growth and continued success
The company is offering a competitive compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary and lucrative bonus program, other bonus and allowances commensurate with the level of the role.. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• 12 to 15 years of relevant progressive experience (qualified in public accounting)
• Strong commercial acumen and business awareness within a matrix organization
• Well-developed analytical and strategic planning skills supporting projects and new initiatives
• Strong technical accounting skills reporting under IFRS with operational finance experience
• Effective communication and leadership skills, relationship building and ability to influence
