They are seeking a progressive CPA who thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting new initiatives and building scalable financial processes from the ground up. Ideal candidates will have experience with consolidations and corporate accounting, along with management experience and the ability to lead a team.

Key responsibilities and oversight:

• Lead and establish accounting operations and financial controls for newly launched brands.
• Manage all aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop, document, and implement scalable financial controls and processes from scratch.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, IT, and External Audit to identify process gaps and mitigate control risks.
• Oversee compliance with IFRS accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Build and mentor a small, high-performing accounting team.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce workload.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• CPA designation with proven experience in consolidations and corporate accounting.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of industry experience as a manager or senior manager, ideally with exposure to fast-paced environments.
• 6 + years post graduate experience.
• Qualified at a major public accounting firm preferred.
• Strong expertise in IFRS accounting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to build or overhaul accounting processes and controls.
• Effective management skills with prior leadership experience.
• Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Experience managing high transaction volumes and operational accounting fundamentals.
