The Role

This newly created Senior Accountant position will play a critical role in stabilizing reporting, supporting integration of acquisitions, and strengthening financial processes as the company scales. You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership, gaining exposure to a dynamic, acquisitive environment backed by leading investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and supporting working papers for multiple entities
• Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with ASPE standards and tax requirements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Oversee AP/AR and billing for one business unit, providing guidance to the AP/AR clerk
• Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and fixed asset schedules
• Assist with various tax filings and returns
• Prepare cash flow schedules and support treasury monitoring
• Recommend process improvements and strengthen internal controls

Candidate Profile

• CPA designation strongly preferred (CFE-pass and tracking designation acceptable)
• 3–4+ years of accounting experience, experience within public accounting or industry will be considered
• Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable in a lean, evolving structure
• Proven ability to coach and develop others would be an asset
