We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent Canadian-owned organization known for its stability, strong leadership, and longstanding commitment to its people.
The organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Services to support its finance operations team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a CPA professional transitioning from public accounting or currently working in industry to support treasury, cash management, and corporate reporting functions across the organization. This newly created position supports SG&A, distribution centre operations, and corporate functions, including Human Resources, Sales, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities and Oversight:
• Support treasury, cash management, and financial reporting activities.
• Assist with SG&A and distribution centre operational accounting.
• Manage planning, process automation, and intercompany financial operations.
• Develop and enhance process controls, as well as oversee legal contract and agreement administration.
• Collaborate across corporate functions to improve standards, processes, and operational efficiencies.
• Provide accounting support for payroll, tax, and banking activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and remittances.
• Contribute to ongoing projects and process improvement initiatives, with the potential to expand into broader operational support.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and provide ongoing support across the organization.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess the Following:
• CPA designation or CPA in progress, with experience in corporate accounting, treasury, and operational finance.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while supporting multiple business functions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong cultural fit being essential.
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process improvements and internal controls.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and internal controls, with the adaptability to succeed in a rapidly evolving environment.
