We are recruiting on behalf of a large Canadian organization headquartered in Toronto that is experiencing significant growth through strategic acquisitions and continuing to establish itself as a progressive leader in the investment management sector. As the organization expands, they are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with a minimum of five years of progressive experience to join their finance team in a highly visible and diversified Finance Manager role.
This opportunity is ideal for a CPA who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment supporting both new and ongoing strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial analysis, business planning, and executive decision support, partnering closely with senior leadership to develop financial models, evaluate business opportunities, and deliver meaningful insights that influence strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities and Oversight:
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models supporting investment initiatives.
- Partner with senior leaders to analyze financial performance, identify opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations tailored for executive audiences.
- Lead business case development and project assessments for new initiatives.
- Support automation of reporting processes to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial insights are actionable and aligned with strategic goals.
- Oversee planning activities including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
The Company is offering a strong compensation package including an attractive base salary, and annual performance bonus. Full remuneration details to be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- CPA designation with public or industry experience in financial services or investments.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, planning, and analysis.
- Mandatory creation of models and business case presentations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly articulating complex insights.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments.
- High professionalism and confidence in interacting with senior leadership
- Strong initiative, ownership, and collaborative mindset.
