They are seeking a progressive Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who thrives in a high-profile, multi-entity environment, managing teams and supporting critical strategic initiatives. This individual will play a significant leadership role, reporting directly to the CFO, working closely with the CEO and ownership, overseeing diverse financial operations.

Key responsibilities and oversight:
- Oversee financial reporting, management reporting, and statement preparation across multiple business units.
- Lead management of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with internal controls, risk management, and regulatory standards.
- Partner with operational teams and senior leadership to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of established managers.
- Support the implementation of best practices in financial controls, compliance, and process optimization.
- Provide strategic financial insights to guide decision-making and operational initiatives.
- Contribute to corporate governance and facilitate board reporting and communication.
The Company is offering a strong compensation package including an attractive base salary, and annual performance bonus. Full remuneration details to be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- CPA designated - trained at a major public accounting firm is an asset.
- Established at leadership level with proven experience supervising other managers in a multi-entity environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a strategic mindset.
- Ability to work effectively with executive teams and ownership.
- Experience with financial statement preparation, management reporting, and internal controls.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated capability in managing complex financial operations, preferably in a diversified organization.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
