This individual will play a significant leadership role, reporting directly to the CFO, working closely with the CEO and ownership, overseeing diverse financial operations.

Key responsibilities and oversight:

• Oversee financial reporting, management reporting, and statement preparation across multiple business units.
• Lead management of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with internal controls, risk management, and regulatory standards.
• Partner with operational teams and senior leadership to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of established managers.
• Support the implementation of best practices in financial controls, compliance, and process optimization.
• Provide strategic financial insights to guide decision-making and operational initiatives.
• Contribute to corporate governance and facilitate board reporting and communication.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• CPA designated - trained at a major public accounting firm is an asset.
• Established at leadership level with proven experience supervising other managers in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to work effectively with executive teams and ownership.
• Experience with financial statement preparation, management reporting, and internal controls.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated capability in managing complex financial operations, preferably in a diversified organization.
  Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
