This is a newly created role supporting the integration and ongoing operational activities related to the acquisition, with a focus on IFRS reporting, process development, and systems implementation. Key responsibilities and oversight:
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Support the integration of acquired entities, including developing processes, controls, and reporting frameworks
Transformational role – establishing process, controls, integration of acquisitions, ASPE to IFRS conversions, technology improvements and implementation

Budget preparation, forecasting and variance analysis to support business decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve technology systems, supporting system integration, the development and implementation of internal controls and process improvements
Support external audits and regulatory filings, providing accurate and timely information as required, including various projects as assigned
The Company is offering a strong compensation package including an attractive base salary in the $95,000 – $100,000 range, with full details disclosed to candidates under consideration, plus three weeks of vacation, RSP plan, benefits, and three personal days.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
CPA designation, with strong public company experience preferred
Robust knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting requirements
Proven ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
Strong technical expertise supported by practical experience in systems conversions and process improvement including use of technology to identify key drivers in analyzing and reporting variances
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, transformational environment
