We are recruiting on behalf of a high-growth software portfolio with operations across North America and the UK. Based in Markham (1 day per week in office), the company is seeking a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA or CPA) qualified at a major public accounting firm and established at the Manager level

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead consolidated financial reporting for multiple business units, including month-end close, analysis, and management reporting.
- Review and advise on complex accounting transactions, contracts, and revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
- Assist in acquisitions and system integration activities, including purchase price accounting and reporting alignment.
- Mentor and coach finance team members, promoting best practices and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA or CPA) with 3+ years of post-designation experience in accounting/audit and 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 15/revenue recognition; experience with software/SaaS clients preferred.
- Exposure to M&A, acquisitions, or consolidation accounting is an asset.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems an advantage.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with ability to influence stakeholders.
