They are looking for a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who enjoys working in a collaborative, evolving environment and is comfortable supporting reporting requirements within a public company setting. The ideal candidate brings a positive outlook, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities with confidence. They take ownership of their responsibilities, while remaining curious and proactive in asking questions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS, with a focus on financial instruments and reporting to public company standards.
• Support the quarterly and annual reporting cycle, ensuring all deadlines are met accurately.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate audit processes.
• Assist in maintaining robust internal controls and governance practices.
• Provide technical accounting support on complex transactions including derivatives, financial instruments, and potential joint ventures.
• Participate in system enhancements and improvements to reporting processes.
• Support continuous education and knowledge sharing within the finance team.
The Company is offering a strong compensation package including an attractive base salary, and annual performance bonus. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• CPA designation with public company reporting experience, particularly IFRS.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, especially related to financial instruments and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proven ability to work independently, own assignments, and ask insightful questions.
• Experience working in a larger CPA firm environment with publicly listed sectors experience
• High degree of professionalism, with a positive and proactive approach.
