Opportunity Details
The role involves reviewing financial statements, variance analysis, and providing insights to drive strategic decision-making. The position offers a dynamic environment requiring a proactive, results-oriented candidate who excels in fast-paced, evolving settings.
Key Responsibilities and oversight:
• Prepare monthly management reporting, including value-added commentary on P&L performance
• Lead the forecast and budgeting processes, challenging assumptions and presenting insights.
• Perform variance analysis on each business unit’s financials, summarizing root causes for reporting to senior management
• Oversee cash and balance sheet review to ensure working capital and liquidity metrics are met.
• Compile quarterly disclosure packages, ensuring completeness and accuracy of FS disclosures.
• Create and review monthly checks for IFRS compliance and sub-ledger accuracy.
• Monitor key metrics such as attrition, organic growth, recurring revenue, and pricing trends.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end deliverables.
• Support new acquisitions post-close, including investment tracking and expense analysis.
• Prepare working papers for audits, facilitating audits with internal and external auditors.
Business unit support:
• Develop strong relationships with finance and operational teams, providing excellent service.
• Identify efficiencies in reporting processes and implement automation solutions.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and deep dives; highlight risks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure accounting policy adherence and internal control compliance.

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or finalizing certification.
• Progressive public accounting experience from the pre-approved audit pathway.
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets and effective presentation abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to shifting business priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging at all levels.
• Proactive, analytical, with a demonstrated ability to drive initiatives end-to-end.
• Self-motivated; capable of goal setting and meeting deadlines effectively.
