They are seeking a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) for this newly created role that will receive great mentorship and exposure to operations leaders. This position is responsible for processing, analyzing and providing KPIs to enhance business performance, along with accurate and timely management reporting.

Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Special projects including process improvement, management reporting to develop best practices.
• Business partner with operations to minimize costs and maximize opportunities.
• Support the budget process, variance analysis, providing value added commentary and insights.
• Perform variance analysis to budget, forecast and prior year and prepare period end reports.
• Develop metrics and insightful reports to driver performance and support various stakeholders.
• Coach and provide financial analyst support as required.

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• 3+ years of public accounting, including experience using data automation tools.
• Strong preference to having hands on database VBA macro, SQL and financial modelling skills.
• Aptitude for continuous improvement including processes and controls.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
