Opportunity Details
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global company, a recognized Top Employer, seeking a Senior Manager to play a pivotal role within their finance function.
This newly created role will lead global consolidation and reporting, strengthen governance, and drive process excellence. You will oversee a small team and serve as the business owner for the consolidated chart of accounts and reporting platform.
This is a high-visibility opportunity to influence reporting standards, partner with senior stakeholders across corporate and operations finance teams, and contribute to finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the global financial consolidation and reporting process
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and SOX requirements
- Review financial results, provide insights, and support decision-making for senior stakeholders
- Partner with operations finance, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Corporate Finance to validate data
- Own and optimize consolidation tools and chart of accounts, driving efficiency and best practices
- Champion process improvement initiatives, automation, and reporting standardization
- Lead, coach, and develop direct reports
The employer is offering a competitive compensation package consisting of an attractive base salary and plus annual bonus, stock incentives (RSU), RRSP contribution and matching, employee purchase program and 4 weeks’ vacation and extensive benefits program. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.
The Successful Candidate
- CPA designation required (qualified at a major public accounting firm), with 7+ years’ progressive experience in financial reporting and consolidations
- Strong IFRS knowledge including significant experience of complex, multi-currency consolidations
- Experience with consolidation tools and financial systems
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and process improvement minded
- Strong communicator with proven leadership and team development skills
